Community Council Monthly Meetings

North Post Ministry hosts a monthly community meeting that brings together military members from North Fort Hood, the City of Gatesville, local businesses, churches, and veteran organizations. These gatherings are designed to strengthen relationships, foster collaboration, and support those who serve our community.

Meetings rotate among locally owned restaurants, allowing us to showcase and support the businesses that make Gatesville unique. Each meeting provides an opportunity to share upcoming events, coordinate volunteer and service efforts, and highlight ways individuals and organizations can get involved in meaningful community service.

Through these monthly meetings, North Post Ministry serves as a bridge between the military and the community—working together to build connection, support, and lasting impact.

Fall Greetings All,

 

Next Tuesday, 1130-1330, 06 OCT, is our scheduled monthly meeting to be hosted by The 6S River Ranch, 1469 Old Georgetown Road, Gatesville. *For shorter travel from Ft Hood/N Ft Hood: the 6S Ranch can be accessed via W Range Rd  & Bald Knob Rd instead of routing via US 84 through Gatesville downtown. For a better look, expand the map with GPS PIN: 6sriverranch.com. When you come through the gate, turn to your left and follow the road to the Lodge. 
 
We will be welcomed by 6S River Ranch host & owner, Shane Stevens, who is graciously providing our complimentary luncheon. Please provide a courtesy estimated Team headcount by 1600 this Friday, 02 OCT. I am very excited to introduce you to this amazing local venue facility that includes a beautiful lodge and cabins on wide-open spaces for hunts, celebrations, or rejuvenation gatherings. Also, consider setting aside some extra time to do a brief tour - perhaps arrive early or stay later. I, as well, will keep the meeting moving along to provide ample opportunity for brief exploration.
