Community Council Monthly Meetings
North Post Ministry hosts a monthly community meeting that brings together military members from North Fort Hood, the City of Gatesville, local businesses, churches, and veteran organizations. These gatherings are designed to strengthen relationships, foster collaboration, and support those who serve our community.
Meetings rotate among locally owned restaurants, allowing us to showcase and support the businesses that make Gatesville unique. Each meeting provides an opportunity to share upcoming events, coordinate volunteer and service efforts, and highlight ways individuals and organizations can get involved in meaningful community service.
Through these monthly meetings, North Post Ministry serves as a bridge between the military and the community—working together to build connection, support, and lasting impact.

NFH Community Council Reminder
Next week, 02 JUNE, is our next scheduled monthly meeting. We will convene at the NFH DFAC 1130-1330 to facilitate a site recon/inspection afterward for the upcoming 14 June on-post event just outside. We have a busy summer of planning to cover, so we will commence those topics as soon as we have a good representation.
**Since the HWY 36 Gate is again inoperable due to vehicular damage, we will need to come through the secure Park Ave Gate access point via W Range Rd. If you do not have a DoD pass, present your Real ID Driver License and pull aside for a brief background clearance.
Continue down Park, take the left on 118th St.
We will park in the adjacent 4-stack BLDGs 56318/56319 parking for a short walk between those to the Dining Facility, BLDG 56320.
Typically, the buffet is under $10, served 1100-1400. Expect a line of Soldiers, so plan to arrive a bit early and look for our group in the back left (NE) corner section. It is a bit noisy, so please sit in as close as possible.
