Local Veteran Services

The North Post Ministry and the North Fort Hood Community Council serve as a bridge between the military community and the citizens of Gatesville by connecting Soldiers, Veterans, and their families with trusted local, state, and national resources. Through our monthly Community Council meetings, organizations that specialize in veteran services regularly come together to provide information, guidance, and direct support for those who have served. These services may include assistance with benefits navigation, healthcare access, employment and education opportunities, family support programs, and community-based resources designed to improve the well-being of veterans in our region. Our goal is to ensure that every veteran in the Gatesville and North Fort Hood area knows where to turn for help, connection, and continued service within the community.
