North Fort Hood Recreation Center
The North Fort Hood Recreation Center serves as a year-round hub for morale, welfare, and recreation for soldiers training at North Fort Hood. Operated by the City of Gatesville Parks & Recreation Department, the center provides a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment where troops can relax, recharge, and stay connected with loved ones while away from home.
Our mission is to support soldiers by offering free, high-quality amenities, entertainment, and programming throughout their training rotation.
Support the North Fort Hood Recreation Center
Help support the Soldiers serving at North Fort Hood by providing everyday comfort items for the Recreation Center. Simple items such as coffee, creamer, snacks, and other refreshments help create a welcoming environment where Soldiers can relax, recharge, and connect with one another during their off-duty time.
Many members of our community have asked how they can support the Recreation Center. One of the easiest ways is by purchasing items directly from our Amazon Wish List. All donated items are shipped directly to the North Fort Hood Recreation Center and are used to support Soldier morale and quality-of-life activities throughout the year.
How to Donate
Support for this initiative is provided through in-kind donations only. Monetary donations are not being accepted for this effort.
You may contribute by either:
- Purchasing items directly from our Amazon Wish List, which will be shipped to the North Fort Hood Recreation Center.
- Dropping off approved donation items at the Gatesville Fitness Center or directly at the North Fort Hood Recreation Center during normal operating hours.
