Individuals who wish to volunteer on North Fort Hood and who do not possess a valid Department of Defense (DoD) identification card (e.g., Active Duty, Retiree, or Military Dependent ID holder) must obtain an installation access pass in accordance with Fort Hood access control procedures.

To pre-register for installation access using the link provided on our website, applicants must possess a valid, state-issued REAL ID–compliant driver’s license or identification card. The REAL ID is required to complete online pre-registration and screening.

Individuals who plan to use an alternate federally accepted form of identification (such as a passport) must process their access request in person at the Fort Hood Visitor Control Center, located at 69012 T.J. Mills Blvd., Fort Hood, TX 76544.

For organized volunteer events, a dedicated access link will be published two weeks prior to the event. All volunteers must complete the required pre-registration or in-person processing to ensure proper vetting, installation access authorization, and accountability on the official event roster in compliance with installation security regulations.
