OPERATION COMPELLING COMFORT

What This Is

Operation Compelling Comfort is a community support effort through the North Post Ministry to provide basic hygiene and comfort items to Soldiers in the North Fort Hood cantonment area.

Why Help Is Needed

Due to ongoing mission requirements, Soldiers are operating at an increased level of readiness. During these periods, they may be required to remain in assigned areas for extended periods of time, away from their homes, families, and access to everyday amenities such as stores, laundromats, and recreational facilities.

As a result, access to everyday personal items may be limited, creating a need for additional hygiene and comfort supplies.

How the Community Can Help

North Post Ministry is coordinating a donation campaign and drop-off process for hygiene and comfort items from local community members, veteran groups, churches, civic organizations, and supporters.

Donations will be accepted beginning Wednesday, 01 April 2026, at scheduled appointment times.
